Gavin Addy is Vice President, Manufacturing Operations at Autolus. During this period, he has guided the organisation through product launches and capacity expansion initiatives to support growing market demand.

Lucy started working in the Advanced Therapies industry 18 years ago when she did an undergraduate Master’s project in gene therapy for cystic fibrosis, she then went on to develop an interest in immunology while working as a patent attorney at GSK Vaccines. Amanda Cole is a Director at the Office of Health Economics (OHE), where she leads OHE’s Economics of Innovation theme. She is also an Honorary Professor of Practice at University College London. Her research focuses on value based payment models, incentives for innovation, pharmaceutical market design, and how HTA policy shapes R&D decisions. She is particularly interested in aligning reimbursement practices with emerging drug development paradigms, and in advancing the use of real world evidence to support technology development and adoption.

Emily is the co-founder and CEO of Duchenne UK. She graduated from Oxford University with a degree in modern history, and had a successful career as a reporter and anchor for Channel 4 News and CNN International.
After her son was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), she established the Duchenne Children’s Trust. The charity joined forces with Joining Jack and is now Duchenne UK. Emily is a trustee at the Association of Medical Research Charities. Toni Mathieson is Chief Executive of Niemann-Pick UK (NPUK) and has more than 20 years’ experience in rare disease advocacy, patient support and organisational leadership.
Toni and her husband, Stewart, first became involved with NPUK in 2003 following the diagnosis of their daughter, Lucy, with Niemann-Pick disease type C (NPC) at just five weeks old. Their son Samuel and daughter Hannah were subsequently also diagnosed with NPC. Tragically, all three children died from the condition.
The support Toni and her family received from NPUK inspired a lasting commitment to improving the lives of others affected by Niemann-Pick diseases. Drawing on a professional background in marketing and human resources, together with extensive experience in fundraising and the charitable sector, Toni has helped lead the development of NPUK into an organisation with a strong national and international voice.
Toni is also a founding member and Trustee of both the International Niemann-Pick Disease Alliance (INPDA) and the International Niemann-Pick Disease Registry (INPDR), Managing Director of INPDR Gateway Ltd, and Chair of the UK LSD Collaborative, which brings together patient organisations to strengthen the collective voice of people affected by lysosomal storage disorders. Through these and other collaborative roles, she advocates for meaningful patient involvement in research and therapy development, improved standards of care and access to treatments, and the effective use of data and evidence to improve outcomes for people affected by rare diseases.

Owen leads the Cell and Vector Innovation Centre, one of the UK’s few NHS-embedded GMP facilities manufacturing ATMPs for early-phase clinical trials, and is one of a handful of Qualified Persons specialising in ATMPs. CVIC have released over 170 patient specific CAR-Ts and also have expertise across different modalities including MSCs and hESc derived products. Owen also contributes to the Pan UK Pharmacy working group shaping institutional readiness for ATMPs.
He is increasingly focused on where responsible AI can genuinely strengthen, rather than complicate, GMP quality systems with appropriate integration.

Lee Dunham is Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Houdini Bio, a synthetic biology and AI company developing technologies to improve the performance of engineered DNA medicines.
