This Is For Me – This Is For Science is a national fundraising campaign founded at the Francis Crick Institute by a collective of scientists and translation advocates. The campaign aims to raise £250,000 in support of Cancer Research UK to fund early-stage translational cancer research through open-call awards of £5,000–£10,000, administered by Cancer Research Horizons. Endorsed by the UK Office for Life Sciences, the initiative connects researchers, patients, and the public through fitness and community-led fundraising challenges such as the UK-wide Relay for Research.
